Paper Betting: Practice Sports Betting
Posted on 20. Dec, 2009 by admin.
Before you place real sports bet with real money, practicing can help you test the water. There are bonus money and free bets being offered by online bookmakers, but you shouldn’t really use these bonuses for practice at all; you can actually use them to make solid profits when you are ready. So how can you practice sports betting? Paper betting!
Placing paper bets is similar to placing regular real bets; you visit your favorite bookmakers to check available matches and odds before ‘betting’ by writing down the amount of bet you make and at what odds on a small notebook. Before you place your bet, make sure you do all the betting strategy and calculations you plan on using when you place actual bets with real money. See the match results and calculate the amount of profits or losses you make for the bet.
It would be best to ease your way into sports betting by practicing for several weeks. When I first started betting, I paper bet for four weeks before I finally decided it was time for me to move on to the next level. You wouldn’t have to rush things at all, because in time you will be ready for the real deal.
Take the difference in sensations and excitements into consideration. Should you decide to place real bets, check if there are different emotions that influence your decision. Adapt to using real money to place bets; before you know it, you can place bets properly and enjoy a lot of profits from sports betting.
